It s funny when you realize the hyenas are disney villains but actually managed to get what they wanted from the Beginning: feast on someone elses meat. I guess it was because they werent as cruel as other disney villains. You can tell that when you also realize they treated ed(the "special member" of the group) as an equal and they always asked for his opinion before doing anything

Thing is, Ed isn't exactly as "special" as he makes himself out to be. He is capable, as shown at a couple points, noticed Simba and Nala running away first, and clearly picked up on Scar's throwing the Hyenas under the bus with Shenzi and Banzai. It's all an act, as confirmed by Jim Cummings. He ain't special, just psycho.

Kids movies would be something like Sesame Street or Teletubbies and the original mlp (second to third generation). Too immature and brain frying to be enjoyable for adults. People need to use the correct terms for something or people won't be taking animation seriously on the West. If adults can enjoy it then it's not a pre-schooler movie (aka, kid movie) it's a family one or all publics. I remember when Disney was cool, nowadays it's all censored and we can't put the slightest bad thing or people get triggered

Like I guess, technically, you could argue it could be considered a family move, but it is definitely targeted towards kids.

I never understood why Scar never tried to defend himself properly against the Hyenas. Lol....real male Lions dont go out so easy. Seen one male intimidate an entire clan. And some clans can be 80 strong. A real male Lion would have at least tried to take a few Hyenas with him, if he went down (i study animals, but especially Lions and Tigers)
