the 90s will forever represent the golden age of gaming for me. we had an abundance of dev studios, there were already some big ones too and many that would become big later were having their first great successes. none of the political crap that is so abundant today. I was 10 when SC2k came out, and while I could see its limitations, I also saw how much better it was than its predecessor and how much graphics in general have improved since the 80s. we just didn't know how good we had it back then.

Damn. I grew up with the mac version of SC2k and the quality of the sountrack was so much better. Same melodies, just way better quality midi.

I think that bug was fixed in the v1.1 or v1.2 patch, at least on the Mac. This appears to be v1.0 because it has the dark brown apartment buildings. They were "repainted" in a gray or silver color with the updates.
