Even tho this was 2 years ago this still helped me a lot! I downloaded SimCity back a few weeks ago cuz Quarantine was boring so i wanted to have fun, because of that I had to get more tips and tricks to achieve higher in the game, in just 3 weeks I am at 200k In Population!

Sam I made chips, animal feed,and textiles 15 each in preparation for contest.i also prepare all the other buildings with suits,grills,ect.plus I have those omgea bottle things ready just in case I get assignment for that .it's always a good thing to prepare.u and Elana taught me that.thanks for another awesome video.i enjoy watching all of your videos u put out.takecare see you tomorrow for the contest.

I do most of what you say, but I also like to have my global market full of high dollar items that are sold, u mentioned that yesterday but I don't remember u saying it in this video. as well I like to request new shipments for everything to arive when the contest starts, and I focus on having all those items ready. love the tips, talisker creek lv 29, 930,000 pop, on pace for over 1,000,000 pop before I am lv 30, once I am done my epic upgrades

1. If you have simcash max your storage slots (11). This esp helps your long assignments and reduces tracking when 12x on those. 2. I think there is a combo to get 3k assignments - I think 3k followed by a low point ... 3. Have an empty region. This can be used for residence upgrade assignments. Bulldoze once done. Same for omega. Place new omega for easy assignments

I think one more strategy would be to not level up. Upgrade buildings only for the Contest of Mayors assignments. I noticed that being at level 15 and Suburban League, you won't get matched up with Mayors above level 18, which is a great advantage. Also, the number of items available to you greatly increases and takes a toll on your ability to multitask. For the Neighbourhood League, i saw i was getting mainly furniture assignments, and i was on level 13 or so. Now at level 15, i've got plant assignments as well; and it blocks up my factory buildings to produce both hammers and shovels, as none of these are available in the market for some reason; and it blocks up my warehouse with too many of too many different types of items to store.

I use to just buy thing on the global market then sell it on my market for no profit when the assignment for how much money they ask you to make a profit .

Great tips except for one. The one about not getting behind. Everybody gets the same number of assignments so if you pace yourself just do so many a day. For example on the last contest where everyone gets 50, I only do 10 a day. Yeah I'm behind the rest but only for a while, as the contest is waning, and people are running out of assignments, I am passing just about everyone. I always place high and I think I have "won" every league at least once. Probably the most fun I had in the Mayors Contest was last week when all the "players" were shooting for 3rd place (Golden Keys > Platinum key) in the Town league. Some players wouldn't add correctly and they would accidently shoot into second place. It was such a strategic battle, I had 3 assignments (not talking about tickets) left at the end of the contest - I didn't run out of time, I just didn't need them.

This may seem obvious, but when it says produce and collect, does the assignment have to be active while you produce? You say work on multiple but does it count if you start the assignment and already have the inventory in your storage?

If u win the first prize start with the highest points assignment because they will be replaced with another highest points assignment most of the time. To win mega league collect at least 50 vus,300 cash.

I’m currently playing this game and in my capital city I’m trying my hardest to build a city that in my eyes is a beautiful one. To be completely honest with you I would much rather have a city that is not completely full of skyscrapers. I would much rather. Want to be able to keep some of my buildings maybe it’s just condos or apartment buildings and zone them in a certain area or something to make my city feel more realistic. however the only problem with this is that as long as the buildings are not fully upgraded the stupid hardhat sign will be floating above it all the time bugging the crap out of me. I was wondering if it were possible for you to somehow ask EA to provide an option for us to disable the hardhat signs at Will please. If this is possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

When you finish all of your assignments you can do an extra 15 tasks by using golden tickets

Unfortunately, the only way you could directly is thru being Facebook friends. I wish there were city codes or numbers something you can type in and go visit, but there isn't a way. It does come in handy having neighbors tho, and for social, it's helpful to have someone to connect with if you need help with items. HTH!

I AGREE! I wish I could say here is a fire proof way of getting first place but I'd be lying lol! It really depends on your competition and the luck of the assignments and your willingness to use sim cash. Anyone I know that has gotten top places in the top league has had to use sim cash. There is no other way I know of.

As of this moment I have 973 simcash. I've worked hard for the maxis manor. That's my highest priority. After that, I'll add new slots to my shops. Too many things to do with simcash apart from contests!

As Sim-antha said shoot for 1500 plus assignments. But with just a modicum of luck you are likely to get a number of assignment over 1500 that will shoot your average up and by using a couple tickets you will get that 100k score.

+Lilian Goh yep! I see it all the time in my mayors club, it’s hard for me because a lot of them use sim cash to hurry stuff along or to buy items they need for the higher point assignments. I prefer to save sim cash for buildings Etc.
