I've gained a huge appreciation for Soyo Oka's music because of you Jonathan and I listen to this particular medley A LOT! Sensational stuff. I would listen to a medley for Pilotwings (SNES) all day if there was one!

This OST is huge for my childhood. SimCity for SNES was the first game my father saw that made him realize the power of games. The fact that my Dad saw it as this cool, grown-up thing felt very empowering to me as a 7 year old who loved playing video games. It was the first time I felt like they could be more than just a toy.

How can you leave me crying here, over SimCity for the SNES? I'm moved to tears by the ending. Your arrangement is beautiful and emotional, and Oka held onto something so, so divine and transcendental, especially in that title screen.

One of my favourite composures. My first game was Super Mario Allstars, I still get the SMB1 bonus theme stuck in my head and the biggest reason I still go back to Sim City time to time is the soundtrack. Great job by the way, the soundtrack leads itself to you style very well. It funny because I subscribed for the minor arrangements and that SMB3 soundtrack arrangement you did but nice to chill out to whatever you've been uploading. Keep up the good work.

YO THIS IS AWESOME! This soundtrack has been hitting me hard recently. I can't explain it other than just hearing the music brings back that early childhood wanderlust. Maybe just cause i'm turning 30 and have been thinking about the things before and after this age. Working on learning some of these songs now and your beautiful arrangements will help.

Oh man, this is one of my favorite pieces of video game piano music. SimCity was always a game I loved as a kid but never owned, just rented frequently, and later played on emulators. I finally bought myself a copy last year. So many feels. Nice work!

Sim City on the Snes is one of my favorite video game ost's out there. A ost doesnt have to be to flasy, loud or catchy to be "the best". Maybe my opinions are as shitty as a gorilas ass, but imo the best ost's are the calm, quiet and peaceful ones. For example I can't play any of the sims games exept sims 1, because of the soundtrack. I love the smooth jazz vibe of sims one, and for me, that is what makes the game what it is.

Other video game composers made good textures, set good moods, but Oka is a better overall composer then most of them, her music has big picture arcs. NOTE: some of those third in the bass voicings work better when you have sonic variety, given this arrangement is on solo piano, I think they may sound better with a little alteration on your part. over all i quick like your arrangement and playing.
