Looks like a great iem for the price. Really nice graph. Price to performance is just getting better and better. I was thinking exactly the same when you showed the packaging, not using that stunning green colour on the iem itself was a missed opportunity. In terms of graphs and my preferences. I don’t think there’s a more appealing iem around for $150. If I was in the market for an iem at this price point, it would be my number 1 choice.

I love your reviews, thanks for taking the time to do these. One question though, how do the supermix4 compare with the Sliivo Sl41? As far as I can gather the SL41 are more balanced and have better bass with similar detail retrieval, but I’m only inferring this form the comparisons to the CKLVX D41 between the two.

I ordered this the day they went live. Got mine yesterday. Completely blind buy and I was looking for a smooth daily driver. And this is it. This is my 3rd simgot and they really don’t disappoint.. but they do refresh their releases quite regularly though. I think supermix 4 really kills their em6l, which I sold before buying this.

@@k.w5804 My understanding of brightness and high frequency is tell me if you agree or disagree or if you know as we age our ability to hear higher frequencies lessen so why is it that people like him so bright I can't comprehend it. It's really annoying like hearing young girls high-pitch screams or for that matter. Some young boys really high bratty screams is I think it was called the EM500 and then they improved on it and it's supposed to be not so bright. And you're saying you got the super mix for. How is that in terms of Base and it being shouty

@@genohero6139 I don’t find the supermix shouty at all. It’s a little laid back compared to the LM. But overall much smoother. It doesn’t have the same amount of base that LM has too. I like the supermix

Simgot has been doing some good stuff with high quality drivers. I find their tuning a bit bright for my tastes, but I have done the tape mod to boost the bass. I think the EW200 is only rivaled by the Tanchjim One DSP in the under $40 range. The Supermix seems like a less bright tuning, which might get me to pick up another Simgot.

I really enjoy your reviews, the comps are crucial. We slightly disagree this time, as much as I enjoy the SM4, the Hydro is the more resolving set and has a wider/more immersive head-stage to my ears. For the $, the Hydro is hard to beat, and I am not a KZ/CCA fan.

I have Galileo as my first IEM and my biggest complain is their size (I use with them). I hope other multi driver IEMs like the Supermix, Pula 02 are smaller and more comfortable. I'm thinking of down grading to ARTTI R2 just because of their size.

I already have the CCA Hydro, which I like, and the very similar Kiwi Ears Quintet, which I don't like. Is the SM4 really that much better? Worth buying if I already have the other two? I think that I'm more interested in EM10 vs Davinci. What is better for separation and resolution? More drivers or more crossovers?

Simgot is a value brand. Dunu is not known for value. EM10 is almost 50% more money than Davinci. You can probably guess then which is playing at a higher level...

Anyway, my money is on the EM10 for now. It has a Piezo BC driver which gives it a nice stage. I'm also waiting for a proper comparison (from HBB & Jay)

Try a 200 grade filter over the noozle. I would actually get a few different ones....200....250....300....350 and then try them until you hit your sweet spot.

Im just saying that some have questioned how good it is , so some sort of negative vibe had to be associated with it .. the solution is to say it's made with cheap parts ..no better than KZ uses.

I think i will get this ,plus aful explorer because of the low treble tuning for my high volumes.simgot build their drivers. Always good quality driver. I notice that when the hydra goes into high volumes. It starts to distort the sound. Simgot does not. When a driver keeps their thick tone at high volumes. It's a good driver and good capacitors. And about the pula vs m4 . The better the driver, the more resolution without boosting the upper mids and treble to give the same results. All avout hi-fi quality

It's getting more and more difficult to make decisions based on both reviews and graphs. Comparing two of the graphs uploaded at squig with the Quintet it doesn't look like it's going to be much different in the sound. In one case the graph has 1-3 db more between 3 kHz to 8 kHz and in the other is pretty much below the Supermix 4 all the way from 3-8 kHz. Your video shows it as being a little below in intensity from 3-5. Then it's a bit above until after 8 kHz when it's below again. Both those graphs and a third one have much more of a sloped graph from 3 kHz than yours. There's another video recently published here on YT that has a sound recording comparison between the two. When hearing that, the Supermix 4 seems to have an obvious emphasized 3 kH peak and a fast drop off after that towards 8 kHz. It sounds a bit nasal and dark compared to the Quintet, which sounds much more open to me and has more impact in the lower registers. The Quintet shell is a bit uncomfortable to me because of the wing so I haven't listened to it all that much but based on that recording, I would not be happy with the Supermix 4. So I have yet to try a Simgot IEM. I don't think the expensive EM10 is for me either.
