Fantastic video and overview of the AB9! I love that it’s compatible with various third-party flight sticks. The build quality looks solid, and the software, with some improvements, seems to offer excellent customization options. I’m excited to see how it integrates with MSFS in the future. Thanks for the video and for consistently delivering great content. It was awesome meeting you at FlightSimExpo 2024 and being on the panel with you, Mark. Looking forward to 2025. Cheers and blue skies!

Looks really nice, I have the Brunner cls2 base, it's really good that ffb is making a come back ,well over due. I mounted the Brunner on my p3 with Gorilla double sided tape. It sounds rubbish but works really well ,solid as a rock. I had to raise my yoke platform on the p3 to make room so when it goes through its start up it won't foul on the yoke. Thanks Mark . Very similar forces to the Brunner.

Brunner peak is 6.8Nm, nominal 4Nm, Moza is 12Nm peak and 9 nominal. I've ordered one due to the double peak force, hope I made the right decision, although I do love my Brunner Yoke CLSE MKII that peaks at over 100 :)

One thing that I think would be pretty interesting to see for the sim community, especially the civil side, would be throttles with motors in them so they can move like they would in real life. Either way, it's awesome that so many companies are starting to get competitive in the force feedback market. It seemed you were stuck with either ancient joysticks that didn't really hold a candle to the sticks available now, or you had to spend a decent amount of money to buy a handmade one, or pay to build your own.

Hi Mark. Greg here…I bumped into you at the Vegas conference near the snack bar with your lovely wife. I’m in the market for a FFB unit and I greatly appreciate your always the best reviews! Can you clarify something…do you know if will it be functionally compatible with MS2020 soon or just with the upcoming 2024? I’d like to have it operational in both. Also, as an expert…what stick add on would, from your experience, be the one to get that is most versatile across the most aircraft? I like vintage planes like the spitfires, F86’s, P51’s, but also some moderns like the F117. All the best! Greg in North Carolina, USA.

I am very interested in this product, but.... Their website states that I will be fully responsible for all taxes and customs charges (like most do) but there is very little detail. I couldn't find any info on where the item would be despatched from until I asked in an email - China. They do have UK retailers selling their products but not flight stuff as yet. Their reply email did nothing to explain about customs fees etc, only confirming that they do usually apply and that I will have to pay them. Unfortunately, I simply cannot buy something under such circumstances.

Is the peak force of 12nm peak a bit of a dubious claim? Seems the the figure can be derived from a 45 degee stick position. I will be watching developments as I am in the market of a FFB Stick and rudder pedals. I notice that Moza don't actually state that the MRP will be FFB, unlike the Throttle(MTP) which is stated and having vibration feedback(haptic?).
@fastfed
@fastfed 2 ай бұрын
12nm would be ridiculous in your hand, this isn't a steering wheel that requires a ton of force, honestly 5nm would be PLENTY on a flight stick. if thats what were doing, trying to replicate real life, except a small few planes, nothing would be designed to have that much force in your stick

@@SimHangerFS Hey dude. No it wasn't. The Sidewinder 2 was full ffb. Not remotely haptic. I asked ChatGPT to compare the Force Feedback 2 with contemporary ffb stick bases and it says the newer ones are stronger and the newer motors have less cogging so are smoother. These newer ffb bases are really tempting but I'm not sure how much of an improvement it will be to my old FFB2?

I had the original MS Sidewinder FFB stick. It was fantastic at the time. Just being able to get a feel for your airspeed by the trim forces was a game changer in a combat sim. I don't. I'm fairly certain all side stick users don't either so.....plus you can infer that since it has more force than the vprhino it's probably fine to use an extension. We'll have to look at it when more people are getting their hands on em but I doubt it's gonna be an issue.

@@sirwhippamusthe moza has the same force as the vpforce rhino. The 12nm is a bit misleading, because it is 9nm in each direction, what will result in 12 total when pushed into a corner. There is a big problem with this one. What they don't tell you when you go to place an order on this is that it's 2 months delayed. They act as if it's in stock and their own shipping policy claims all items will be shipped within 3-5 business days. It's not until AFTER you've bought the item that it tells you that it will ship in 6-8 weeks. This is clear misrepresentation and borderline fraud. If you are to make an informed purchase on an item the company needs to tell you it's on back order. Now in America, this is law, and they are required to. Moza is not American and I don't know what their laws in the country they operate in require them to say or not. Though we all know Europe allows countries to be far more vague in their language when it comes to things like this.
