MSFS | Aerosoft CRJ 700 Tutorial | EGLF to EGJJ | Part 2 - Cruise to Shutdown.

Good work Mark ! Your tutorials have become like a reference library, I keep coming back to refresh my memory and keep learing more. First successful flight with CRJ700 last night, messy descend, and approach. Unable to catch ILS, came too high and fast. Did a manual landing instead, aircraft is very forgiving :) I will try like in this tutorial, enjoy this aircraft, keeps you busy.

Another great video Mark. The a/c is indeed fun to fly and quite systems intensive, hence very immersive for those interested. One thing to note generally is that it is quite pitch senstive, especially with rear mounted engines, so application of thrust produces a noticeable pitch down moment - a point to consider if having to add power on final for example!

Mark, would you consider doing another tutorial with an alternate landing setup? I'd like to see all the correct steps to doing a full STAR landing if possible. I'd also love to see a video on setting the appropriate sensitivies and such with throttles in the EFB.

Nice video again. I have one problem with the flaps, when i set the flaps to 1 with the honeycomb throttle quadrant they go all the way down.

how do you slow down on approach because I'm going at 300 kias when my throttle is idle meaning I go flying off the runway on landing

Your either slowing down too late in the approach, you see in the video I was at 200 it’s when I started the approach...or you have a throttle calibration problem. Regards

Thank you for the tutorial sir. I haven't bought this airplane because I've read a lot of comments saying it's pretty difficult to control and how it's more of a 2-man operation than a single-pilot aircraft, do you agree with these comments? I am not a flight sim expert and I have a lot of fun with the A320 and the Cessnas because the are quite easy to fly, so I'm a bit worried about spending the 50 dollars and then not being able to fly it?

The CRJ does require some learning and is one of the most complex aircraft for MSFS right now. However if you can manage the A320 then you will enjoy the CRJ. I recommend it. Regards

aerosoft really has to fix the glideslope issue. it fails on almost every approach. i have to fly the ils manually. it's fun but i would like to have the ap a minute longer engaged, to establish a stable approach and minimize the workload in this flight phase

There was an update for the CRJ recently. ILS improved considerably. Still subject to some odd behaviour at times, but I think this is MSFS. Regards

@@SimHangerFS --- so does that video cover the CRJ with the Bravo commercial (boeing) levers settings and reverse thrusters settings for CRJ? I heard it's real tricky to setup. I realize in the CRJ there are settings in the tablet computer there to the left of the captain and I will need to flip on the "hardware has reverser levers" toggle and the detents for each CRJ throttle position (Idle, Climb, etc.), so I'm assuming that I would watch your linked tutorial that you just provided me and setup the CRJ like I would setup a 737's Bravo bindings as far as thrust & reverser thrust in the MS2020 Controls settings? thanks so much for your quick response to my question a bit ago!
