It's pretty crazy how in the of the world's largest urban areas you can still find such impressive unspoilt mountains at the Santa Susana Pass. The colours were really popping when you filmed this one too! Great video as always

4 years ago, during his trip to California and back, FWJ was planning to take CA 118 to get to Pasadena from US 101/CA 1. Unfortunately, he had a change of plans to use CA 126 and enter I-5 to see the Newhall Pass Interchange again. Asphalt Planet, thank you for showing us your drive on the 118 in L.A. and Ventura Counties! Even though you drove west in this year's spring.

The Simi Valley is one of my favorite areas of California. I'd love to visit and check out Ronald Reagan's library some day.

This recalls when I went from my grandparents’ house back home one time when the I-5 southbound on ramp from roxford was closed. Love I-210 at the start as there are new signs which gives the freeway a newer look, so I’d say that is my favorite part of the video. I only went past exit 36 on CA-118 West like over the last few months especially most recently I went for a new church opening in Simi Valley. Ventura County is interesting bc of that and the library

It’s been quite sometimes your last LA video. Really love the scenery there is driving Through SF bay aera & LA aera un general. The fact that you recorded that just a few days before your video of I-8 between San Diego & the Imperial Valley is quite a funny coincidence too 😂. Are you also informed about the Inactive Google accounts policy? This policy deletes every Google accounts that were inactive for over 2 years starting on Dec. 1st of this year. This means that several road videographers on YT, like Freeway Tim & FreewayTom are un danger of being deleted after this date. If this ever happens, do you plan to reupload some of their videos? Just wanted to talk about this in case you weren’t aware.

I think I must've scheduled the Interstate 8 video before I went away this spring. From what I understand KZbin isn't planning to delete any old youtube videos at this point, even as it deletes other old accounts. Thanks for the comment.

Google has clarified that the the Inactive accounts policy would not apply to Google accounts with KZbin videos.

First and a great drive! Have you heard of the freight train detailed near Pueblo, Colorado which caused the bridge to collapse which killed the truck driver on Interstate 25?
