I don't know where to start, that was such a fun day with so much accomplished! That ex LA Amrep sure was fun and I was not expecting to see that on a WM cart route. Sure was cool seeing the la colors in the cab and around the truck but wow that truck operated and sounded great. I enjoy the variety of Mack Amreps G.I. has from diesel, LNG, MR, tag, mini tag dual axle all great. I'm glad we found 2 ex Anderson LE Octo's on route before they were painted but I'm definitely looking forward to the Anderson trucks getting painted. That MR is such a mean sounding and operating truck, I hope we can find it on their new route. Always enjoy G.I. and I'm looking forward to returning their.

Thanks bro! I had an awesome time on these two trips. I'm glad GI is running all the cool trucks still but shouldn't really be surprised with how they typically run things. Definitely looking forward to returning when everything is repainted! Always enjoy going out there!

They sent it up to HSS but last I checked it was on the verge of being retired. GI is the BEST yard around! So many great people here who really know what they're doing, it's amazing.

I can check on it for you to see if it's still around, HSS is overseen by the same GM as GI so explains why they have really good people there too lol

You know I'm a sucker for ex-LA trucks! Wow felt so weird seeing something not in WM colors from the master himself but I loved it. The ex-LA operated so nicely. I loved how hard Miguel revved! The ex-BBD truck was awesome too, reminds me a little of '479 because of the hopper wall lol loved how that one operated. The Anderson Mack was sweet too. The second one sounded beast, I loved hearing the sound of the truck switching to neutral. Cool how '518 had the LA County sideboard. The MR was one of my favorites, I just really dig the MR Amrep Octo combo. Overall super impressed how GI is growing a lot and is now the full provided for GI, and reading that all the Anderson trucks are CARB compliant was awesome to read! Will they all be repainted? Also love how all the guys rev out there. Very good video bro, really kept me entertained all the way through. Awesome video!

Haha! Thought you'd like to see that truck! Definitely agree with you, I love hearing the sound of the trucks shifting into neutral. I'm really happy with the changes going on at GI! Really is keeping things exciting. They plan to repaint all of the trucks, not sure which units will be kept down here and which ones will be sent up the coast though. Thank you!

Really great video Aaron! Wow GI with Anderson, that’ll be interesting to see. Seems to be working with both companies in a good way, really loved that Ex-LA Volvo, can’t wait for it to be resprayed in WM colors, I’m surprised that Volvo is running so perfect after all these years! Loved seeing 232 again on YT, the operating style on that one was very nice. 261 is cool too, did that one always have that body or was it exchanged at some point in its life? Anderson’s Macks seem to be in great shape! It’ll be nice seeing them in WM colors, and it’s nice that they’re dual axle. Great post Aaron!!

Thank you! Yeah definitely excited to see the Anderson trucks in WM colors soon. Anderson took great care of their trucks so I expected the Volvos to run nicely haha. I believe 61's body is original, I'll double check next time. Glad you enjoyed bro!

Nice video! Really wish you gave me more notice and I definitely would have come out with you guys! 180’s noise totally brought back nostalgic memories from my childhood. I really liked his operating style, along with 250 and 260 as well! I really enjoyed all the old Anderson trucks. Will they be repainted or have logos put on soon? 232s revving sounded amazing! 102661 was a super fun truck to watch, especially with the belt grind! How long have they had it for? 518 was pretty violent too which was neat. One thing I noticed overall was how lax they have become with the no lid-flipping policy... I didnt notice a lot of effort to keep the lids closed. GI sure has taken on a lot lately, especially with them getting Anderson and UWS contracts. But no doubt these guys will get everything done! Any plans for getting new trucks?

Yeah sorry, I would have invited you except Mike and I didn't finalize plans for the day until midnight the day of so I had no idea if I was going to be out helping out in SaMo Mtns or truck hunting for the day. 180 was awesome! I was glad the driver revved pretty nicely. They'll be repainted over the next few months and have WM boards put on them over the next few weeks. Yeah Miguel was running 32 really hard! Loved it. Glad you liked 61 too! They've had it since 2012 I believe. Pretty sure it was sent there along with all the old BBD Volvos. Haha funny you mention them being more relaxed on lid flipping - I heard there was a new lids and skids program being implemented a few months ago but still see some lid flips. They got the best in the business handling the transition! New trucks coming in for Topanga in June or August and despite them being 520s, I'm actually kind of excited to see them. Thank you! Gotta love the GI Macks! Yeah they plan to keep and repaint just about everything but some units will be sent to another division to replace their aging fleet.
