Our primary goals now should be,how to clear all back logs in time bound manner in SC,HC and lower courts.Amend the constitution and make cases to be barred by time in all courts.Organize lectures and seminars on this issue as much as possible.75 years have passed.Now we are capable enough to restructure our own systems.

The modern legal system is of Christian Anglican origin, and it has no basis in dharma shastras. I can cite two issues to prove this: 1. Divorce is unacceptable in Hindu culture. 2. There is no restriction on polygamy in Hindu society.

Ramasubramanian, a former Supreme Court Justice of India. I suppose, we all ought to listen to it and discuss it more. (चर्चा). For that is the true Bharatiya way. 😊😊 The young practicing attorneys and even the general public, must not forget that the "Laws "Evolve" as per the “passage of time” and even as per the geography and cultures as well. (For example, a "social custom" accepted in one society in an era may be considered as a "crime" in other societies in the same or different era.) Anyway, when we talk of "Shrutis and Smritis", (that is the Vedas and the 18 Smritis including Manu, Yadnyavalkya and Parashar Smriti), that 'explains and codifies' the "essence of Vedas" in a more granular form, we MUST take into account the "SOCIO-POLITICAL CONTEXT" of that era. .. If we do that and then we "think deeply" we realize that the principles of "Common Laws" of today, practiced by most of the Western world, had "long ago been enumerated" in Vedas and the Smritis. (For the civil and criminal disputes, both). .. Is it not quite an astonishing fact?? ... It sure is!! 😊😊 In fact, first, the Greek city-states and later the Romans deeply learned from the ancient Bharatiya civil and criminal jurisprudence is just a fact. (The Greek envoy/philosopher "Megsthanes" writes briefly about it in his book called "Indica" about 2300 years ago.) In my view, all this shows quite clearly that "Hindu-Way-Of-Life" was and is the "greatest in the World", and has been for several thousands of years of past. .. Make no mistake about it!. Only after the invasions of the first, “Mughals” and later by the “European barbarians” in the last 1000 odd years have we lost our DHRMIC way, we lost our ability to question (प्रश्न), reason (कारण-मीमांसा) and apply the logic for the "DHRMIC SOLUTION" (तर्कशास्त्र) by resorting to "independent thoughts", that was the bulwark of the then Hindu society for thousands of years. ... Anyway, personally, I loved the way the judge spoke and in a very “simple and lucid language” explained the basic concepts of the "evolution of Bharatiya Jurisprudence" to the students and the general public alike. 😊🇮🇳 Bravo!!! उत्तीष्ठ भारत!! - Vinayak Hirlekar.

Justice tempered with mercy pictures God himself: showing his JUSTICE, in that the rebellion of each man everywhere deserves eternal DEATH; yet in his son he died that we not end up in hell, in constant decay. And the infinite impossibility of even one protein developing by itself mirrors & guarantees our spiritual bodies WILL slowly decay for an infinite time in the garbage dump of hell, (no reincarnation, I’m sorry to report) -unless we accept the mercy of Christ for our sins: our lives of self-interested pride, and even pagan religious pride, guarantee we deserve this death: but God’s income love allows him to trade the good life and acts of his only Son Jesus to OUR BANK ACCOUNT: when real REALIZE OUR NEED and stop justifying our sinful failures but ASK for mercy

I am not really concerned about what any particular person BELIEVES. You may believe that there is an old man with a white beard perched in the clouds, that the Ultimate Reality is a young blackish-blue Indian guy, that the universe is eternal, that Mother Mary was a certifiable virgin, or that gross physical matter is the foundation of existence. The ONLY thing that really matters is your meta-ethics, not your meta-physics. Do you consider any form of non-monarchical government (such as democracy or socialism) to be beneficial? Do you unnecessarily destroy the lives of poor, innocent animals and gorge on their bloody carcasses? Do you believe homosexuality and transvestism are moral? Do you consider feminist ideology to be righteous? If so, then you are objectively immoral, and your so-called "enlightened/awakened" state is immaterial, since it does not benefit society in any way.
