To answer your question, Lane indeed does have a dad! We just never see him. I believe he is hinted at in the episode where she gets married and has an appearance in the revival. It is so odd that we never see him, especially because Mrs. Kim being called Mrs. Kim suggests that they are still married and live together.

Mr Kim is an off camera character. He is referred to often, one being when they send Lane to Korea she says my parents and my mom and dad.

@@Simmary Yay :) Also, if you're looking for a similarly cosy (and magical) tv series, I recommend the Good Witch. I believe it's on Netflix. It too has a few interesting locations that might translate well to the Sims, like Grey House, The Bistro, or Bell, Book & Candle, a kind of magical/esoteric shop.

I dont know if you could fit anything else in Lane's closet, but I think adding some clothes or drapery would make more sense, especially based on the show. I think she would definitely use clothes to hide things just in case. I grew up in a house like that, and I was always hid things in the clothes and fabrics😄

It would've been cool to add that one window from HSY in Lane's room. I don't remember if Lane ever snuck out the window in her room but I do remember there being an episode in s1 where I think Lane was grounded and Rory had to climb up the tree by her window to talk to her.

My mom and I would watch Gilmore Girls together all the time growing up! We noticed that Lane mentions her "parents" and "mom and dad" as a unit a couple times in season one, but after that, it's just mom.
