Molly. I only found your channel recently when i was researching simmons 1250... then i seen what you do... wow girl... i wish you all the best as you are an amazing drummer and entertainer. I was a professional entertainer(singer/guitar) for over 2 decades and it is a hard road but so rewarding when you SEE people smile night after night as they have worked day after day to just get out, dance on that floor and enjoy THEMSELVES! Music brings us all together and you, girl, are doing a GREAT JOB at that!!!

Nice vid… mine came late last night. I also bought the Expansion kit (Tom 4 and crash 2)…I have not gotten it all hooked up yet. I’m not a novice but I haven’t really played much in the last 6 years. I sold my skins 6 years ago (dumb move) and I’m 66 and just looking to get back in. This kit fits the budget and from all the reviews and videos I’d say this was a wise re-entry choice kit for me. If I greatly improve I’ll move up to a much better one but honestly so far this kit is a hell of a bargain at $429.99!! That’s what I paid from Guitar Center Online. You’re right about the kick pedal.. it’s way better than I expected at this price point. So is the whole kit for that matter.. hope it lasts a while.

Theres a little girl that jumps on my strata prime after church every sunday and so I’ve just been giving her lessons each time. She is progressing extremely fast so I decided to get her a starter kit. I was going to get a nitro max just because I loved the quality of my kit. But after looking at their other kits, I think the only one I like is the strata prime haha. This simmons is where its at for a starter kit for her though. They sound great and look more durable. Thanks for the review this helped me! P.s. You should definitely be the salesman for cable snakes on budget kits 😅👌

I just got this kit for Christmas and got all set up and it’s great overall (I also am like 99% new to drumming, been a guitarist for like 4 years and wanted something people could come over and jam on) but I feel like I have to like STOMP the kick pedal hard to get it to actually make a good sound otherwise it’s way too quiet. Has anyone had this issue and does anyone have any suggestions to fix? Idk if I set it up wrong at all or how much the fact that I’m set up on a carpet might have to do with it

Do the cymbals have dual zone for a bell? I noticed they're quite flat without a defined bell on them. Going between this and the Alesis Nitro Max which has the bell but apparently the sounds are a little more "programmed" and these ones are a little more natural on the Titan

Is this kit mono? I can recommended the 2box Drumit, great quality and and your able to sample your own dynamic sounds very easy by PC software. Used for about 800 bugs.. if you upgrade any time think about.

I don't know about that big bundled cord for all of the pads. 1. Looks like you had to wrap the heck out of them because they were so long. Also, not black so it's super visible 2. If one goes bad you'd have to replace the whole thing and buy it from Simmons as opposed to an standard instrument cord which can be found/purchased pretty much anywhere

Im going to use my Gibraltar drum rack so the kit will feel a lot more natural. I have Cymbal stands, Tom rack mounts and cymbal mounts as well.

And with that you entered a new world - The edrum world. I got tired of the noise of acoustics and lugging a heavy kit around and went over to edrums and never looked back! Nice that Simmons added a 4th tom trigger input and a 2nd crash. Sounds good! Sub'd. od

the hihat pedal is a nogo for me. just unplug it & put it away. Unless you play super quietjazzy spread out kinda sounds so every nuance can be heard. its an awesome "starter" kit imo

im a bit mix & in some ways dissapointed with it. The so called rim shots on the snare are no different than hitting open snare really. soundwise. ....The Highhat is nearly inaudiable and you cant turn it up . ...you can Not angle the snare other than side to side Only. these are things I dont like about it. otherwise sounds great.
