Took a punt on these and ordered the two pedal set with base plate from a UK dealer last week. Got them installed and set up last night and can confirm they work fine connected to my DD Pro wheelbase on PS5, very happy so far with what limited time I've had using them and a definite step up from my CSL + load cell pedals.

FYI for anyone who's interested.... I have just tested the Simagic Linear Motor with the Simagic power supply connected to the Simnet control box and it all works!

12:00 good to see (and worth pointing out) SIMNET thought of inserting bushings to prevent an elastomer blowout. I have a similar setup in my Girro Sim Pro XR pedals and this is a thoughtful detail I do miss on many other pedals of this kind.

The Corsair purchase is already benefiting the market. Fanatec users have been waiting for a new top range pedal set for a while. Losing console compatibility is kind of a nonstarter.

What a great review. I had to buy the 2 way Pedal set two days after i watched the video. My wife forbid me to watch your channel in the future...^^. I tried to explain to her how cheap these pedals are for what you get but...no chance. These pedals are really great compared to my clubsports V3. Much better feeling and so easy to customize. I use mine with a red/black/black elastomere combination and the haptic motors and i am just happy. Is there a special reason thy the HPM-L is on the gas pedal and the Rumble on the Brake? Is it for better effects on the gas pedal? Hope the Simmons Pro X review is out soon. A friend bought these and has some trouble with the setting. Somehow this damper is a bit strange. I am gald i bought the Simnets. The finish on the Simnets is way better than the Pro X in my opinion. Sry for bad english...coming from bavaria^^

Thanks! The haptic motor arrangement wasn't anything more than just how things ended up during my testing. The Pro X review will be coming in January. 👍

At 14:30, it would make sense that the clutch would have an effect for the bite point, like a real clutch. Of course, it certainly depends a lot on the game but if you buy a set of 3 pedals you probably drive manuals in game frequently and have a realistic vibration similar to an actual clutch would just make a ton of sense. It's kinda why driving manual cars in sims suck, the clutch doesn't have any feedback

Hmm, is Fanatec compatibility a legal gray zone and that’s why they avoid talking about it? This seems like an amazing alternative for console and I’d like to know if the haptic motors work on console with games that support the Fanatec V3 haptic motors, or if they are truly PC only.

@@crkvend true, it could be a very much wanted alternative - before Fanatec provide us with Podium Pedals. The main question is, as you said, will the haptic work as rumble motors - as it does with the V3s? But as it seems to emulate CSL Pedals, I doubt it will work.

So i purchased the base plate for my Simsonn pedals. The base is is remarkably thick and of high quality. I will state that the base is very narrow. I have been running just brake and gas for extra space for some time. So it isn't that is going to cramp me. However i have decided to add a clutch pedal and ill be mounting it directly to my sim rigs plate further to the left. I did a rough measurement of the plate against my fanstec csl dd with load cell plate and found the Simnet to be at least 3-5 inches narrower.

Yes in deed, it is a bit narrow. For me personally, at least with only brake and gas, it is not an issue. I have to say that the heel plate is an engineering masterpiece. The mechanism is simply very smart. And regarding the cable management, I personally hide all pedal cables, haptic cables and the box under the heel plate. The cables are almost invisible then.

Through the control box, is the Fanatec compatability is a hardware or software thing? If it is software, I think other companies could make similar control boxes and make their pedals compatible with Fanatec and maybe even Logitech and Thrustmaster.

Is there any risk with buying these in terms of software support? So if the company falls out in 2 years time, will these pedals still work without software updates for years to come? These look great, however I don't want to spend a lot of money on a company that maybe hasn't established themselves in the market yet. Would love to hear people's opinions.

This is not the world first third party pedal to connect to Fanatec bases to be used on consoles. Actually I have the MPPC simpedals with wires making me connect them to Logitech, Thrustmaster or Fanatec bases allowing you to use a high end hydraulic pedals to these bases and consoles. Sadly MPPC simpedals are long gone, they don't offer them anymore.

Great review ! However a few issues I have now encountered..The sofware is the weak spot, It is aweful and glitchy for me anyway , The sliders just dont move ! You cannot fine tune or calibrate correctly, extremely frustrating! And i have a modern PC no issues with my PC , I have deleted and re installed the software several times and same issue , after two days I have given up ! Also Iracing will not recognize these pedals and want me to configure them each and evey time I log in ! Thats just crazy ...Lastly those extra springs are no place to be found , cant buy them anywhere and they do not come with the predals !!! So you cant utilize the full capability as eveeyone likes a different feel ..So With that I cant recommend these pedals and I will be sending them back . Its a shame because they are built so well and feel so nice , Thats my experience now . But great review!! I wish my software worked as well as yours did here but it doesnt ..... I have no idea what to do about that software and why thats happening, however, Apex sim where i bought these told me they have seen this issue before ! So maybe you got lucky ! Im just gutted , i wanted to enjoy these ..

If it's the same sliders I'm thinking about (in the calibration helper), it's moves in segments. If you click along the line (rather than dragging), it should change (hopefully). I don't know about iRacing, but within the last few days they did release a new software and firmware update. Maybe try that. simnetracing.com/downloads/
