I swapped the elastomers for a mix of Fibroflex 70a and Hawkeng sim jack kit with a shorter,thicker pre load spring also I took the hard plastic off the pedal stops and replaced with silicone hose to quieten them in use (mainly accelerator).Many thanks and keep up the good work,great review, excellent pedals.

So just ordered a 3 pedal set in black with 2 "hyd" from amazon. Im rebuilding my entire rig. I was only planning to get a new monitor and cockpit .... but one thing lead to another and now my old cockpit and fanatec gear (except shifter and handbrake) are sold... Ive gone for a couple of higher end options (rig and monitor) but can't go too crazy. These pedals look adaptable and incredible value for money, so right now, they'll be the ones for me. We're just getting into racing, so im sure they'll be great for what we need.
@andreasotto19776 ай бұрын
What I do miss on these (and similar) pedals is some kind of "blow out prevention" for the elastomers. MECA, for example, uses steel cups surrounding the elastomers, my Girro Sim pedals have additional sleeves between the rod and the elastomers, both effectively limiting the maximum squeeze you can give the elastomers. This may not be an issue for everyone, but I consider myself as a "heavy breaker" and I remember having constant issues with the elastomers popping over the washers on my modded T-LCMs back in the days. Also, these days you read a lot of people going back to springs instead of elastomers because of the latter "wearing out", which is a sign of overuse. So yeah, would be nice if more pedals had such measures in place. (Afaik even the HV sprints don't.)

I just got mine last week and I love them. I can now trail brake with more control, downshift like I'm supposed to and the gas/clutch feel amazing. The Simsonn software is as simple as pushing calibrate, choose which pedal/s to do and press them fully 3 times. The only thing I changed was shorten the gas travel and used the black elastomers, the other ones made the brake feel like I had air in the brake lines. I do want to try the springs instead cause the elastomers seem to release a little pressure after depressing them to where you want. You can see it in the calibration software. I also have a Cammus order coming in but I think I might not use it because this feels great.
@VirtualRyders5 ай бұрын
I wanna say that I changed to the springs instead. The elastomers have this mushy feel to it like during the first few seconds, then it gets hard. You can see it in the software so now I just go full mechanical. I'm so glad Simsonn includes those in the kit. Oh and I'm still waiting on the Cammus pedals.

I had them for about a week. I only swapped brake spring to red one and kept stock elastomer and has worked well for me coming from v3 pedals. Issue is i have big feet and still did not like stock height of the pedals. I ended up buying vnm pedal plate which works great but brings the total cost up to 400 which is not ideal. Also wouldnt consider these pedals unless tou have a good pedal plate or aluminum rig. My ebay rig did not fit the width of vnm pedal plate so i had to buy extra hardware for it to fit.
