This is pure gold. My dad passed away 5 years ago. He made me listen and love these guys since I was 5 yo. When I bought this bluray I say to him: "come here, let me show you something". He had a huge tv and a great home theater. He cried so much watching this. This is one of the best mwmories I have from him. Lomg live these "guys".

Doubtful there will ever be harmony like S & G. However, there are some amazing groups out there who have been obviously inspired by S & G's harmony... such as First Aid Kit. They are two sisters from Sweden and are amazing. Check out their songs Emmylou & The Lions Roar.

This music is unbelievable. It's so in sync, without effort, since they're so profound in their performance through hard work and, without a doubt, skill. This is the pinnacle(beacon) of harmony. Throughout the years, many greats have set the pace way before Simon&Garfunkles' time..but to live up to this euphoria of musical art is next to none, they're unique.

I saw them in '69, just Art, Paul, and Paul switching to and from a 6 or 12 string Guild. Jenison Fieldhouse at MSU. They filled the place with their sound, I didn't miss all the other musicians, add ins and overdubs. I was quite impressed with how well they did with so little.

For those complaining about autotune, Art lost his singing voice around this time and probably felt more confident having it at his disposal during this performance. He acknowledges this in a CBS interview on here if you search it.

+jrfalfa , it is not just at his disposal. It is so heavily used in moments that his voices sounds like computer-ish.

+jrfalfa There are videos online of the actual live thing without the post processing and he sounded just fine. He also said it has come back to him with age. I'd much rather hear him sing off pitch than this corrected mess.
