Thanks Simon! I was in the single fin " camp" as well in the early 80s. Your thruster design elevated my surfing as well as everyone elses. Thank you so much for your positive contribution to surfing. Hello & g'day from Texas.

Every surfer in the world should send Simon a $1 coin for his effort in designing a fin system that everyone is using today. Simon why didn’t you patent it. I remember surfing Big Fairy Bower and Simon paddled out where I was sitting at Winki. Simon started paddling for the horizon? The ocean just went dark on the horizon and this easy 13foot set rolled in. Simon caught the first one I caught the 2nd one and we both had rides all the way through to deep water off Shelley beach!!! Amazing chatting to him.
