Plus, music in general is more accessible than ever since we have KZbin and Spotify where we can hear more artists and watch an audition or a performance without really watching the show is one reason as well. After Phillip and Jessica’s season, I don’t think I watched an episode in its entirety. Just the videos posted on the KZbin.

Nobody beats the original judges of the show. They're legends. Paula is such an incredible choreographer dancer. Randy and Simon have developed many different talents. These American Idol judges new the game and were right almost everytime about choosing the right talent. People think Simon's cold but he has such a keen eye. His cut and dry nature ensures success.

My Favorite Part: Simon says he wants the 3 of them to do a show again, Randy goes to fist bump Simon (who never sees it @ 4:03), and Paula gently clasps Randy's floating fist and pulls it slowly back as if to say, "No, sweetie. It's not going to happen, but it was a sweet gesture." I giggled so hard. They're such a cute little family, and I hope Simon really does bring a show back w/the three of them on it.

This is honestly the greatest thing. They are family! It’s like the three helped their child (Kelly) become successful and now Kelly is repaying her parents (Simon Paula and Randy) Like yeah come on my show... ask what everyone is up to... American Idol worked because it was like a kid's singing show during a family gathering. Simon was like that father that is super hard on you but actually wants to see you achieve your best. Paula was like that proud mom that got on the defensive when the father was being too harsh on the children. Randy was like that cool uncle that always wanted to tell you about his achievements back in the day when he toured with Mariah Carey.
