eh Simon's advice isn't terrible. Not the full story either. If everyone stays quiet, the problem goes on, so it's good that she comes out with it. But at the same time she does take a personal risk in doing so as some people look at or treat victims badly. I think "think before you do it" is a bit dissuasive but it does have merit. If it was "just don't do it" then I think he would've been outright wrong.
