I guess it's been over half a year since I started listening to them seriously (earlier I used to know only a few songs like Mrs Robinson or The Sound Of Silence). At the time of this concert I was 9 years old and already a fan of their music. Obviously I could not attend since I was just a german child, but I SWORE to myself that I would attend a S&G concert some day. Made my dream come true in 2013 at their "Old Friends" reunion tour ... bought the tickets online, flew in from Germany to Los Angeles and watched them at the Staples Center ... singing along the entire concert ... with tears in my eyes. Childhood dream come true ... :)

This great old song helped me change my life. Back in the mid-1970s, I was in a bad, destructive relationship that was not healthy for either of us. I found myself sitting in traffic wondering what the hell I was going to do, when all of a sudden, like the answer to a prayer, this song began. All of a sudden I knew what to do and two weeks later, I was free, still screwed up, but free. Thanks Paul.
