I moved to Munich 1973. I was at that show in Munich at the Olympia Hall with that amazing double drum solo between Jon Bomham and Simon Kirke. I love to ride my Harley on a sunny day also. I love to write songs but nobody hears my songs. Nobody that can do anything with them. lol My Mother took me to a Buck Owens concert at the wheeling jamboree which was a live show broadcast on 50 k watts every saturday night and i was hooked on guitar after that. she also took me to see Badfinger in the same theatre. I have worked in that theatre since 1976 and still do at 63 years old. I played in bands from 77 until the late 90's and then got much further into production work because it paid so much more money than a club gig.

This is a great interview with Craig and Simon. In a truly incredible stroke of luck - on my first trip to NYC in 1969 I saw Free, Delaney and Bonnie, and Blind Faith at Madison Square Garden. I was 16, and my Dad was taking my brother and me to the east coast. We were coming up from Memphis and were in mid-air when I saw the concert listing for Blind Faith - my eyes must have just popped out. My brother and I were into Clapton and Winwood, and were waiting in great anticipation for the Blind Faith record, but I don't think we'd even heard the album yet. My Dad picked up on how much it meant to us and somehow got tickets, and bragged about it for the rest of his life. I didn't know Free or D&B at the time. Free was up first and definitely made a huge impression - I'd never even heard "All Right Now" before. The bands performed on a revolving stage which was set up in the round, in the middle of the floor level seats. It was all pretty indescribable.

Hiya. Talking about boisterous yanks….. my US relations…..50 odd, in particular my polish American grandmother was a screamer that just saying hello would contort my brain and send me into diabetic shock, strange as I’d always been the picture of natural health. But upon return to Toronto my extraordinary health would return. Except any memory of recent normalcy. Although she escaped nazi Austria as a catholic, i still have doubts about the entirety of altruism. Peace, internally and physically hahah. Oh PS , I could always sing Bad Cos’ tunes being a vocalist incognito and minor pro attempts, yet as a band guy in ‘67, at 12, shall always cringe in the dreamworld of what should’ve been.
