I basically just said the same thing. Classic dry British wit and humor. My family on both sides (though we are 2 generations American now, are British to the backbone so we truly appreciate the English language and it’s unique humor and love of laughter in general. My last name, Willis (I found out) dates all the way back to the Norman Conquest, and all of our other family names are equally quintessentially English with the exception of the couple of Scots (McCaleb and McNeese) that slipped in. I think our appreciation for all things British (including humor of course) is absolutely genetic at this point.

Kind of sad that Run Fatboy Run didn't make it on the list. While not iconic, in the strictest sense, it still was a memorable role of Simon's. "How's that for a slice of fried gold?"

I love how the culture of KZbin and social media gives certain artists a chance to have a piece of content about them shared for everyone to see. I've been a Simon fan since Spaced and to this day Edgar Wright is my favorite director and all of their works are my favorite films. Glad people (especially Americans) are finally getting to enjoy Simon Pegg more and more.

When it first aired it was slow to gain an audience but it definitely wasn’t underrated by those who actually watched it. Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is a similar situation.

'Paul' got me through a tough period in my life. It quite literally brought sunshine into my dark mundane days since it sorta relfected what I was going through losing a loved one and having your buddies becoming an integral part of the journey was what really resonated with me. Great feel good movie, played it on repeat for months and never got tired of it. My brother got annoyed since we stayed in the same condo lol. Great memories.

One of the most underrated actors and writers. Clearly the best actor in Mission Impossible. I watched Ghost Protocol again last night and couldn’t help but realise that he was the most convincing actor that’s part of Ethan’s team.

It’s a tough call between Shaun and Hot Fuzz. But if someone was to twist my arm I’d say Hot Fuzz, I really liked the story but as far as rewatchability I feel Shaun is an easier watch. Both are in my favorite comedies.

I've always found Hot Fuzz an easier rewatch. For some reason, each time I watch it I notice more and more things I didn't notice in my last rewatches. All of the Cornetto trilogy is godly, though.

One of my favorite ever experiences was watching Shaun of the dead for the first time! I opened the tv back in the day and it was on. I knew nothing about it... It was early at the start of the movie in the scene where Simons roommate was complaining to him and Frost about what losers they are etc. I thought at the time this MUST be a drama film.... But still caught my interest. After the first zombie sighting scene my mind was blown for EVER... :D

Spaced will always be my favourite thing they ever did. SOTD & Hot Fuzz come 2nd & The Worlds End is 3rd But man, Spaced was just genius, can't even hazard a guess on how many times I watched it growing up, got me into a lot of good music too, like Boards Of Canada & LemonJelly. 10/10 is an understatement for that show.
