I honestly miss movies like Red Rocket. It's a movie that offers you a moral conundrum and doesn't force you to think a particular way about any of its character. It just let's the viewer make up their own mind. I seriously miss going to the cinema and seeing movies like that! I think that's part of the reason why the Oscars ignored it.

Honestly, I always felt Rex deserved to be nominated for an Oscar for red rocket. The film is not the best but his performance captures something about humanity that is hard to define. I can’t speak for Rex’s character or that of the role, but it was a very worthy performance.

This is crazy bro when I heard Dirt Nasty/Simon Rex was leading in a movie I watched it immediately the next day and It was really good, he really made that movie what it is, and he won best male lead that is just so dope man, proud of you. Everyone knows he's charismatic and funny but this movie really showed just how entertaining and good at a lead role he can be and he said in a podcast that's what he was waiting for so congratulations again!
