Simon needs to set up his own You Tube - what I learnt in one day with Simon improved my photography 100% thanks for this excellent interview.

A great interview Jasin. Bird photography has all the nuances of a portraiture shoot without the egos IMO.

🤣🤣 57 mins in.... you two remind me of my times in the first gulf war! So many funny incidents - talking of which I looked after an Aussie press boy called Jasin in the Press out there! It wasn't you was it Jasin?!!!

I remember those Lady Di photos... and your supermoon is awesome!!! I always thought they were photoshopped. Your bird photography is amazing - If I could just get one image as good as yours I'd be happy :) thanks for sharing :)

Great conversation and images. Good to learn a little more about one of our greatest nature/bird photographers here in Auckland. :)

Jasin! How can you NOT use back-button focussing? You seriously need to sort your act out! 🤣 it will so sort your life out and if I could give just one tip to an aspiring (or indeed an accomplished 😉) photographer, it would be to switch to BBF. You have so much control and, after all, the shutter release button is for shutter release.. not focusing! Nice vid indeed

moon shot looks manipulated to me... moon is mis-orientated! Caveat - might be correct from the Southern Hemisphere though! Also at 500mm moon would be quite small in the frame (35mm FF) so this image is heavily cropped to boot - not a problem at all but this was not mentioned so effectively this is like a 1200+mm lens! But great shots though!

@@JasinBoland I am sure of that Jasin... not even the massive willy the person in front seems to be carrying around with them? 😉😂😆🤣
