Simon Sinek is a consequential figure in the world of thoughts, he’s earned my attention and curiosity. I have always lived Socrates, Plato and Aristotle and Simon comes close

This man made me cry twice during this vid. Once at 37:15 when speaking of moral people and then again towards the end. He offers explanations and then again and with effect, he is providing an offer. I love this man:)

Simon's basic approach to leadership has earned my admiration! Leadership is a choice but to be effective and affective, one must understand the many variables involved to be ethically moral from a humane perspective for everyone to experience being safe.

I love this man!! Finally someone who expresses the things that have always felt 'natural' to me, but also made me feel like I was the one who "didn't get things".... And i do wish to add that - unfortunately - that kind of leadership does NOT always get rewarded. I was treated like a worthless piece of dirt by my colleagues after I sacrificed many days and nights for their best interest. Now that hurts!!

Ok all these people commenting about eating.... you are told to eat during this they literally serve the food right before the talk so it is expected.... it is not rude... trust me the speaker is aware and doesn't take it personally.

I have followed Simon since his first TED talks video. I am really looking forward to the new book. I love the message although it is a shame that I have to listen to a room full of people eating during this talk. Watching such a great speaker like Simon have to work through this distraction really took away from the speech.

Your insights are great, fantastic job! Just one thing startled me: „We give them (the leaders) first choice of mate“? Excuse me - Who is „we“? People, especially women, ALWAYS chose for themselves; they NEVER were (nor are, of course) an incentive, like some goods or the best food. Naturally all people are attracted by the most valued and attractive (in the literal meaning of the word) person - still please consider changing that phrase. It sounds very much like “Dear leader, here you have our finest mates to choose from - take whoever you like best and don’t bother, if that person doesn’t agree with your choice - we let you choose and make sure she obeys for we want your genes in the gene pool. Serve yourself. Have fun.”

What if.... If I tell u there is a saying of the last Prophet and this whole talk is based upon that... سَاقِي القَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who serves others with drinking water should be the last to drink himself." [At-Tirmidhi]. Remember he said this 1400 years ago.
