Hi everyone, thanks for watching! For anybody who hasn’t watched it yet, please head over and watch Andy’s (Kent Survival) video - he also cooked a Porterhouse steak, but upstaged me with a chips and asparagus garnish! It’s a ‘Steak Off!’ kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5qbkJSqiZKKfrs

Another banger! Love your Robin too.

You win Simon, by highlighting just the steak, no garnish or extras, just as it should be with a steak of this quality ;) Andy did a great meal if you had a cheap supermarket steak though!
@M101K33 жыл бұрын
Just watched Andy's and while I do love sparrowgrass (and aspergers aren't bad either) I have to go with yours, Simon, mainly because yours was over an open flame and being from one of the southern ex-colonies I received my amateur's degree (celsius) in steakery and beeriness near an open fire.
@M101K33 жыл бұрын
@@eponaalbion Dude if you're in the UK and have a Sainsburys near you they do 21 day matured steaks (2) with knobs of garlic butter for £3.50 - I kid you not I'm about to get those bad boys on in a bit.

Yum! I just had tea, but this made me drool, and now I'm hungry again. I think I'll go raid the freezer .. perhaps green peas, a pan sauce, and Ciabatta bread .. yesssss, that would do the trick - tomorrow. Best of luck to The Steak Shop 😍

I can't help but think about your skills and how much youngsters during these covid restricted times could enjoy a bit of cooking and camping in their urban gardens. This could be such a great venture with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge along with their children but something every child should have access to, especially making budget stoves out of large tin cans, etc. You have so much knowledge to share with children who's parents and grandparents don't have camping skills, which would be me.
