That was well worth all the preparations and the long trip to see these beautiful places. You have certainly chosen the right van for navigating those rough tracks, which takes you to the most scenic views. The vans interior looks really nice and a full tour around inside it would be great. Looks like all of your hard work and effort has paid off for you to achieve your travel dreams.

Thank you! It has lived up to our demands so far and since we were unable to find a properly priced van with the interior concept we wanted, building it ourselves was the best option. And after an intense start to the year with almost all available time going into this build, this trip really felt rejuvenating. Here's to many more adventures! 😊

Wauw, so much fun to see some of the sites that we visited as well in september! Love the new van. We also camped next to the old ford and went to some of the spots you guys went. But we traveled with a 4x4 with rooftop tent and a malinois instead of a husky haha. Looking forward to see the rest of the trip!

@@SimonBraeck Happy to hear the first trip with the van was a succes. We had a great trip as well but very bad weather. And I must say we had a lot of problems with the wild dogs. Didn't you?

That's a shame, the will dogs ruined a lot for us too. It might became more apparent in the coming episodes, but it wing clipped us regarding hiking and having Zulu chilling outside the van. We realized how comfortable it is having her with us in trips in Scandinavia

@14:48 I noticed your bed was elevated. If you try to drive with the bed lowered, you will experience a "comfy´er" drive. ;-) It is amazing how much center of low gravity counts, Also, if the boxes on the roofrack are heavy, strap them inside the van between the wheelaxels while driving. Thanks for sharing this epic trip and cool rig with us! ;-)

🍀Next time you should consider the route through Poland. A very interesting,beatiful country. Each region of Poland is different. Different landscape from the sea to the mountains, beautiful lake districts, etc. Regional cuisine I am a Pole who has been living abroad for 20 years and day by day I see how Poland is changing and how many new opportunities it offers in terms of tourism or strictly camping. Thanks for those ideas. Poland has briefly appeared in some of our research, and being mountain lovers we were surprised to see the mountainous regions of the country. It's not too far from Norway either, maybe its doable sometime soon 😊

Hi. Went for the 265/70/R17 - this is the biggest wheels that are accepted in the mandatory roadworthiness test performed in Norway (max 5% bigger than what Mercedes states in the manual).
