Actually, it is not uncharacteristic of her to step out of bounds. Her signature is that she has too much power on her legs, which (on the good side) allows her to do pirouettes that other females can just not do. On the flip side, the bad thing is that those pirouettes are usually done by the end of the floor bounds, and sometimes, she can't help it to do an extra step to keep herself steady. However, meh! Who cares! Nobody is perfect. She still is THEEEE Goat, Queen Simone!

This was more entertaining than classics, the energy and execution were top notch. Simone has so much power that in two passes she went out, which is crazy in itself knowing how above and beyond with difficulty she maintains. The best in the world.

It’s kind of like in 2013 when she couldn’t really reign in the power. The reason I’m not worried, though, is because she had fixed it completely by the next year, and she’ll definitely do that here very soon. It’s better than having too little power and being low on landings in my opinion. I don’t really get why she’s being so hammered on execution; even with the bad landings, I still got an 8.6 because of her pretty flawless form and technique. Deductions aside, I was especially happy to see her smile a lot more!!! It really makes the routine come together.

Kojo Baidoo Floor seems to be getting hammered this year by the judges. Last year it was beam. I guess next year it'll be vault or bars.

You can already see such a difference in her confidence from the GK Classic to this competition, she smiled the whole routine through and you could see how much fun she was having. She's amazing!

can we take a minute to realise that floor being one of the events that she won gold for at the olympics was today her worst event. yes thats right this was her worst routine of the night. she swept every single event even bars. she got a 15.6 for vault. A FREAKING 15.6 IN THIS NEW CODE IS UNHEARD OF. Imagine if at worlds she swept the gold medals. The gymnastics world would be shook forever.

Remember during podium training everyone was hating on her for her not smiling and being tired, she did the complete opposite and smiled the whole time and showed off her routine.
