Speaking as a former gymnast and a fangirl of the "Magnificent Seven", Simone is consistently upping the bar for the entire sport! It's absolutely jaw-dropping what she's able to accomplish! What a role model and truly the goat!

@@GabrielMaldonado-mf2jyand that’s fine. Rebeca did amazing but Simone had a hurt calf and uncharacteristically went out bounds twice on the landings of two passes. Simone usually lands and then steps out, she usually doesn’t land outright out of bounds as she did. But she still left with the most golds. And Simone hadn’t lost a floor final gold until her 11th year as a senior in the sport.

As impossible as it is to imagine, I honestly think she's improved. In the past, her momentum would sometimes carry her outside the perimeter or otherwise compromise her landing, even if it was by a minuscule amount. Her landings here were so good they were downright scary. They even *SOUNDED* like thunderclaps!
