Simone and Jonathan Owens wed 22 April 2023 so they are still newlyweds and since Gabby Douglas withdrew from US Championships Simone will be the oldest member of the US Women's Artistic Gymnastics team aged 27 and the youngest will either be Joscelyn Roberson 18 or Simone Rose 16 as for the men this could be the first time the US medals in 16 years while the US Women have won a medal in 9 of the last 10 Olympics from 1984 team Silver to 2020 team Silver 4 Silver 1984 2004 2008 & 2020 2 Bronze 1992 2000 and 3 Gold 1996 2012 2016
