I agree the humility is endearing but tbh why do people always comment this. She is the most decorated gymnast in history and it seems like even the most excellent women on earth are STILL congratulated above all else for their humility in a way that I don't really ever see on male gymnasts' videos. If she was loud and proud and her own biggest fan I would cheer her on just as much.

What are you talking about ? She literally took away the chances for multiple women to compete in the Olympics. You know, when you're competing in the Olympics, you are going against the best in the world. There were tons of athletes that would have loved to take her spot. Seeing how she even did it in a team sport makes it worse.

The other athletes didn’t, if those women wanted to go they should have been better 🤷‍♂️ she is a human and unfortunately had problems just when the Olympics started, if she decided to keep competing and keep making mistakes you would have been saying “Why didn’t she quit of the competition to avoid more harming to the team?” You guys would have been hating with any of the choices she would have made, whether to compete or not.
