The Amanar vault was named for Simone Amanar of Romania, not Simone Biles.

i think i remember back innher first quad as a senior, they used to submit a weiler full or womething like that, bc she used to over rotate sometimes, so theyd submit it just in case. lol--i'll have to go back and look it up to be 100%, but i know it was that weiler.

the Biles two Vault is a double piked Yurchenko not an Amanar which was named after Romanian legend Simona Amanar when she preformed it at the 2000 Syndey Olympics which was her 2nd Olympics while Paris will be Simone Biles 3rd Olympics oh and the Yurchenko style of Vaults was introduced at the 1983 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships and the Gymnast that vault is named after Natalia Yurchenko dislocated her knee on an under rotated Vault and would've competed in the Russian Alternate Olympics in 1984 as they boycotted the Los Angeles Summer games. also scoring is different now than it was under the perfect 10 scoring System which ended in 2004 summer Olympics in Athens Greece though the last person to actually score a Perfect ten at the Olympics was Lavinia Milosovici on Floor Exercise in Barcelona in 1992 Henrietta Onodi of Hungary got a 9.95 and Bronze was a tie a 9.912 between Cristina Bontas of Romania Shannon Miller of the US and Tatiana Gutsu of the unified team due to mistakes such as falls and steps out of bounds granted deductions have gotten stricter since scoring changed for ex if the coach stands on the podium when Simone does the Yurchenko double pike vault she immediately loses .5 a point which if she lands without a hop that brings the score down to 15.9 from 16.4 her Floor routine if she lands the triple double without a hop is worth 16.7 and her beam is 15.8 and Bars is worth similar so she could possibly earn a 64 at the Olympics which would be enough to get her 4 individual Apparatus medals plus team all around and Individual all around

She shouldn’t add anything this close to the Olympics. She needs to keep her mind on fixing the flaws she has now. Pointing her toes and controlling her landings. Adding more can only make her have the twisties for the 2nd Olympics in a row. The US Olympic selection committee should take a strong look at her physical and mental health before naming her to the team so that they are confident that she will perform in Paris in all events plus AA. The name of this game is CAUTION!!! ⚠️
