I followed along up until 'lens flare' and then a stopped because I was getting a little overwhelmed. Nonetheless, I learned so much in all the steps prior to when I stopped, so thank you, Simon!

Simon I love your content! I would love to see some videos highlighting integration between Affinity Designer and Apple Motion, specifically transferring/using 16 bit RGB vector & raster elements exported from Affinity.... thanks for all you do!!

This looks really nice again, Simon. Are you considering doing this tutorial for Fusion as well? If not, I might consider giving it a go to recreate it, if that's alright with you. How does Motion define things like rates and particle lifetime? Is the 61.8 degrees per second or per x number of frames? (since you're putting the framerate at 100, I was wondering what the technical reason behind this is)

Please feel free to make a Fusion version of this. Unfortunately understanding how the numbers work in Motion isn't going to be a great deal of help though.

@@SimonUbsdell Why wouldn't it help? It might make it easier (at least for me) to reverse engineer the rate and lifetime etc so it will match to what you did. Your permission is appreciated though.

Here is a Fusion version to get you started. Makes more sense than trying to re-interpret the Motion version: drive.google.com/file/d/12wOhfVyK3738A7ZkMd_K1aahPeRnX5_I/view?usp=drive_link

@@SimonUbsdell Thank you for the link. It says access denied though and that I need to ask for access. And if you have already set it up, I almost feel bad making a Fusion version of the tutorial since you will have done all the actual work.

@@ShadowMakerSdR The link should work now without restriction. Feel free to use the composition in any way you choose. I didn't really finesse it. For instance one could look at doing it in 3D rather than 2D ... Edit: It works very nicely in 3D. Are you planning to do anything on this or can I go ahead ad do a tutorial?

A bit of a stretch on this one. Great work nonetheless. 😎
