Simple and straightforward Ghanaian Shito Recipe😍

A spicy sauce made with pepper, dried fish or shrimp giving it that UMAMI SAVOURY FLAVOUR. Shito is one sauce that is often carried along on journeys, travels and boarding school due to it’s convenience. You are not Ghanaian until you’ve taken Shito to SHS.

I have all of the ingredients except for the dried shrimp. I only found dried cod (bacalao). Can I use that?

You can oven grill/ bake uncooked shrimp and blend it. Takes about 35 mins
