thank you for posting. what is measured ac frequency at coil ? measured, not calculated/predicted. are you measuring 2.7kw at power input, or actual at coil ? by convention in the ih industry, output power ratings are used. measure temp in, temp out, n water flow rate thru induction-heated part inside turn[s] of water-cooled coil. i worked on/with 20 & 30kw 450khz ih generators for 16 yrs. take care - dLLund 😀

Thanks for the nice build demonstration- excellent. I understand that the 2700W is for increasing the number of followers? :-) But the D16? x 20mm up 700 C in 10-11 sec is perfect for the price. Almost 1kW effective into steel is a good result.

hi, if using 12vdc then must use a transformer and it is quite a heavy and big capacity transformer, if I make a dc power supply directly taken from the 220vac power outlet (using a bridge diode and a capacitor and supposed to become about 300vdc), what needs to be modified? the size of copper and the numbers of the copper wires turning? and what else? please advise me, thanks.

Hello RJ EDIT ALL Your circuit drawing is right. But i found some major flaws in your circuit. As it is from what i have seen from your video, you mention that is is 2700 watts. That is not true. In order to get 2700 watts on 12 volts, your would have to draw over 100 amps. Your prototype will last a few hours before having parts issues. The main reason for that, your soldering is very poor. Your output coil wire gauge is way too small, i would suggest you use gauge 8 wire at least. Make sure you use bigger wires for your circuit if you wish to use this everyday. Source : i am an electronic engineer.
