In the LP Siding official videos, they show a guy using a saws all to cut the new spacing. I tried that and the saws all blade goes all over the place, tears up everything. I used the circular saw as you did to open the butt joint.

Oh hell yeah! We gonna fix it right up, nothing to it... Finally, a content creator from Planet Reality. Too many "This Old House" videos where everything falls into place like the Creator himself was the Project Manager. This creator shows how "It Works At My Old House". Been there, done that and I'm sure Ive got a couple more "never seen before" errors to perform on a future project. I learn something every project and every day. Subscribed

GOOD JOB BOSSMAN... I JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION: IS AN INK PEN THE SAME AS A SOLID QUARTER ??

Bro that is sssooooooo wrong if someone did what you did it would murder the warranty!! All nails have to go under the top siding lip that’s number 1 ! Number 2 if you run flashing behind the butt joint you DO NOT Caulk ! And you DEFINITELY DON’T nail at the bottom of the siding (face nail)! Your sidings screwed so you won’t have a warranty anyways but anybody installing new LP DO NOT do this!!

Warranty was voided already, it is non transferable. And the way I nailed it back was how it was nailed originally by the "professionals". And if you read the warranty it is not really worth the paper it is wrote on. Thanks for watching.
