Pretty sure the value of having the icon dim as it passes through it's cooldown stage and then pop back in at full brightness when it's off cd, is so that is eye catching. Soon as it's ready to use again it "pops" on and you can see it out of the corner of your eye.

I knew everything and then deleted everything thinking the new UI would negate the need. Now I forgot everything because I was playing Destiny 2 instead of Dragonflight. It was one other other. Now I'm back and it's like I never used any add on ever.

i imported a mage ui and it only shoes on my screen while i have the add on menu up and when i close the menu it goes away

check the load settings, that might be keeping it from loading correctly, it might be set to a particular talent or a particular zone. In my case, my weakauras only show when I'm in combat

Great content as always! Now I have a question: as a Brewmaster Monk, I want to track my Expel Harm (icon) so that it shows how many Orbs there are around me. It does show it, but it’s soooo tiny in the corner of the icon. How do I enlarge the number and move it to the middle??

Try looking into your text settings for that particular icon and you might be able to enlarge it

Maybe I missed it here, but I have a lot of WA on my Destro. However, there are a few that I do NOT want to display while I am in Arena. How can I exclude when a specific WA is shown?

Check the "load" tab, you can set various criteria for a weakaura to load, in my case, my rotation only loads when I'm in combat.

I for some reason have multiple text boxes on top of each other and I can't figure out why I select to attach them to the name plate but it doesnt work

@@powerTJ2 you might be attaching them all to the same nameplate, causing them to stack on top of another, in that case, you should put your weak auras in a dynamic group, and then attach the group to the nameplate

Hi, thanks for your guide! I have a question and I really hope you, or someone else could help me. In arena I have party frames converted to raid frames as a healer, and in 3v3 I want to track when Touch of Karma or Deathmark is on one of my party members and I want to attach the icon on the party members frame where it's active on. How do I do this? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the whole web!! I would really hope you could help me. Great content btw!

What I keep asking myself is: what do most players pay attention to? Name plates? The WeakAura? Or do you look more at the action bar? I always try to focus on the WeakAura. The only problem is that sometimes I have to look at the name plates to see who I have to kick. So it's always a back and forth which stresses me out.

I know this comment is old but I´ll give you my take on it from someone who's been playing wow for over 10 years. It all depends on your playstyle and your interface, I like to raid and do mythic plus, so I have to be able to look at my rotation and my abilities while being able to see what's going on around me in case I need to move or dodge things. In my case I pay the most attention to my rotation weak auras, which are placed near the middle of my screen below my character, that allows me to see my abilities without having to look down at the bottom of my screen where my action bars are, also, my player frame and my target frame are right besides my weak aura, that way I don't have to look away too much to see my target's health. You also have to keep an eye on nameplates as you stated in case you need to kick something, if you´re a new player this can be a bit overwhelming at first, but you´ll get the hang of it, and once you´re more comfortable with your rotation you´ll spend less time looking at your weak aura and more time being able to look around.

As a former teacher, I guess you can handle a constructive critics. When you making a guide video, keep your mouse on the screen calm and move it slow and when it need to be moved. Flying mouse on screen make it hard to follow what you telling and where your pointing with your mouse at max speed all over the screen. Calm down your mouse movements ind it will make your video's perfect.

I know you probably don’t want to hear this, and yeah the sound can get weird if you slow it down too far, but you can literally slow the play speed down by .05x all the way down to 1/4 speed. So, just so you know you have that option. 😂
