Thank you. I need a bamboo toothbrush. I love that someone is talking about this throw away lifestyle that people are in. I took my swiffer duster and swiffer power mop to goodwill a couple of weeks ago because I didn't have money for the duster refills or the pet wet pads. I quit buying paper plates, dryer sheets, fabric softener, harsh cleaners, bleach, paper towels, and hair dye. I want home made laundry soap, shampoo, and cleaners. I want to switch to more natural items. love your video.

I love this! I totally agree with you! Being more intentional with our purchases and lifestyle can help create a more substantial planet, with less waste, and help us save money. Keep up the great work. ✨️

me too. &I can't wait to make my own soap and beauty products. They put nasty things on the conventional ones, as well.

I don't buy or wear bras. I just have several of the nipple covers. I have a doz new underware all white cotton grannies. I wear with dresses. But when wearing leggings, pants, i just use disposable panty liners. Dollar tree have shampoo/ conditioner soap bars. I just use that for body too, all in one. No plastics. I use and save glass jars from food or dips for left overs and anything else a container would be needed for including as a flower vase. I use the plastic in the utility to hold nails, screws etc to keep them organized. I have reached the point of using very hot water for cleaning floors, etc. No chemicals. I have come to a season of no longer getting manicures, i like the trim and clean look. I did years of weekly pedi and mani. It was not necessary, i just had the money to do stupid extreme without intention. 360 on my thinking now. So much waste of time and money for nothing.

What do you use for laundry soap? I havr struggled with this. I ised to make my own but in my area it was hard to get the ingredients.

I use Fels Naphtha. It's a laundry bar of soap. You can use it for skin, hair and laundry. Get a good sale and it works.

Thank you for your question! I've struggled with this myself, so i completely understand! Im currently using a laundry soap through Zuma until I can find another alternative! It is pricey, but having a good clean formula is essential! Im adding a link if you want to check it out. www.zumanutrition.com/products/organic-laundry-detergent?_pos=1&_sid=c09f14cac&_ss=r

Very realistic video, but I did laugh when I thought about bras and big breasted women, that wouldn’t be realistic for them. I so agree with many of your points. I’m trying to retrain myself from the old ways! It took me a long time to get here, so hopefully the journey won’t be so long going back the other way. LOL

I can completely understand that! I must say that's never been an issue for me to understand the struggle on the other side. The context I was speaking in was using push up bra's that contain a lot of padding and tons of lift to try to get a "fuller larger" effect that wasn't my reality, and just accepting our bodies as they are :p I will be sure to be more clear next time. Thank you for pointing that out. It defiantly takes time to change our mindset and habits, but it does get easier as you go. Thank you for your comment and watching.

Do u use dish washing soap? and how do u make the cleaner? do u put vinegsr and baking soda in a speay bottle ?
@LivingMindfullyWithEve Жыл бұрын
I love this question! No I don't use dish soap, I learned to make my own a few years ago and love it! I will link the blog post for you if you want to check it out. There are several different ways to use white vinegar and baking soda depending on what your trying to clean. For glass I just use white vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle and it works like a charm. For toilets ,wood and bath tubs I'll mix white vinegar, baking soda, water, along with a few drops of essential oils (tea tree, lemon, lavender, or whatever fragrance you prefer if any) and scrub the area with a scrubby or wash cloth. Make sure when you mix the vinegar with baking soda you allow enough room for it foam up or it will overflow the container. Thank you for your question and I hope this helps! livingwellmom.com/homemade-dish-soap/

Can you show what kind of toys your kids play with?
@LivingMindfullyWithEve Жыл бұрын
Yes, I can definitely make a video on that but until then: My kids ages 2 and 6 play with kinetic sand, homemade playdough, wooden building blocks, wooden cars and animal figurines, a lot of coloring and activity books, water color painting, arts and crafts projects, wooden fruit and bowls, stuffed animals, and they each get a bit of tablet time with educational games, and a lot of time outside playing in nature when weather permits. A lot of their stuff is from The Manhatten Toy Company and Hearth and Hand with Magnolia through Target. Thank you for your comment, and I hope this helps! 💖

I also don’t buy clothing with logos. No free advertising for the company that made it - if someone admires the style etc. they will ask who made it. At my age (and size) I need a good support bra to prevent back pain and I don’t like the look of my breasts hanging to my waist…as you said it’s do what works for you. 👍🏻Good video Thank you for sharing your life.

I couldn't agree more on the clothing logos. When I was younger in high school, it was a marker for income and being in trend. The "cool kids" wore certain brand names, while the "outcasts" wore generic brand clothing and often got made fun of. I sadly fell into the logo trap, making sure my clothing had certain brand names. Now I see how silly and distasteful the whole mindset was. Now I have no desire, like you said, to advertise brands for free on my body! 😆 Thank you for your comment I appreciate it. 🙏
