Absolutely so so helpful. The 3.5” size of unfinished square is just so perfect for all those scraps and they are so cute! Great video.

I wish I'd learned this 40 years ago when I first tried my hand at quilting! Just the bit about cutting squares to a 4 1/4" or to 3 7/8" would have eliminated a lot of frustration! Thank you so much! I'm eager to try this.

Wow! It’s like magic the way you change the place, colour and design of blocs! A question: your ruler seems funny; is it in cm or inches?? Because your 9 patches are in inches, is your ruler too?

Thank you! Just found this. My current quilting “developmental stage” is playing with reproduction prints/traditional patchwork and ready to try different nine-patch settings. I love these ideas. I’ve also used your binding video about joining the ends. I re-watch every time I do binding to make sure I get it right. It works great! Love your style.

very helpful. do you know if there is a book about size changes to cut. I would like to make differently designed squares that make a quilt - say I need all 10" blocks, how to make a 6" block into a 10" block, rather than just adding sashing.

Which sewing machine is best to use when making a queen size quilt
@NationalQuiltersCircle7 жыл бұрын
Hi Ron, any standard size sewing machine should work well when making a queen size quilt. You do not have to have a special machine or a machine with a larger opening to do a quilt of this size.
