No way i was just looking for a pattern for this type of bracelet so this is perfecttttt. Thanksss

Perfect!!

Tip: The straight edges technique would really benefit this pattern. Bracelets tend to get wobbly when you're doing backward forward or forward backward knots on the second to last strings on the sides. At least, that's what I experienced over the last few years.

What is straight edges technique?
@peterkahl34328 ай бұрын
@@yettie Masha Knots has a great tutorial for that technique. But you basically add one string per side and make forward backward or backward forward knots onto them.

i honestly couldn't understand how to start the bracelet and when i looked into other tutorials it's a totally different way to start which personally really confused me
@sarahwhite32504 ай бұрын
Do whatever loop you want and then just set up the strings in the same order as she has hers

People used to make these instead of normal chevrons and I always felt super envious even now 5 years later 😂 I do more complicated patterns than this but it brings me back to the good old days

I love this tutorial so much! Youre really good at explaning how to do things, the bracelet i made turned out so pretty. But lol, i kept forgetting to do the backward forward and forward backward knots at first.

Masha, does it matter if I begin with a teardrop loop for this pattern?
@QueenBee_SammyCee9 ай бұрын
I do have a question but first I have to say; Hello Miss Thang! And YOU; alone, LITERALLY inspired me to start making friendship bracelets again. 🤗 not gunna lie, I’m 34 (as of today.. ew.. 😓LOL) and when I was young and friendship bracelets EXPLODED there were only so many patterns. The chevron, candy stripe, ummm just backward/forward knots (or vice versa) over and over again to make that spiral-chain looking kind.. and.. diamonds lol.. . When i stumbled across one of your videos cause I wanted to make one for old Time sake for my first best friend of 30 years.. I was like, “WTF?!?? This chick is amazing and how the heck did she make a friendship bracelet look like that?!?” And from there.. it just unraveled and I can’t thank you enough because it’s actually another item I was able to add to my Etsy store! I owe you a lot! . So.. seriously.. thank you.. once I can get some $$ put away I’m Gunna buy the book and do the sponsor thingy for you. I’m just putting my son through college right now and I’m doing it alone.. while having to deal with figuring out how to buy my soon-to-be 16 year old a friggin car.. but they’re good, responsible kids so they deserve it. But.. IT SUCKS TO DO IT ALONE! I can’t wait until I can get the book! . QUESTION: is there a way to do a loop start but only have one tie at the end? With two ties it kinda gets a little hectic or can you only do it for a design like this? Thank you for your time!!! . Again, also thank you for giving me a new fun thing to master all over again.. ♥️🙏🏼💪🏼🥳

For the ties you can make a teardrop loop and make one tie at the end so yeah, it’s possible 😊
@Erik2522-e1r3 ай бұрын
you can make a teardrop loop which i personally love and did with this bracelet, but i reccomend you do 2 ties and tie them together im not sure how you could tie it with one but you can absolutely try.

Masha, I’ve been making bracelets for years and still struggle with making even knots. I’m really striving for perfection here but there’s still a lot of imperfections. How tight exactly are tying? What thread brand do you use?
@marty471278 ай бұрын
so this might be a stupid question bc i am just learning this and havent even made my first bracelet yet but how come with this pattern and the triangle ends you work from the center out instead of left to right, on the pattern? thank you :)

Can I do a beginners loop for this braclet
@MashaKnots9 ай бұрын
Absolutely! The first few rows might be a little bit messy as is the case for any bracelet started with a beginners loop but it should even out
