@michele-3310 ай бұрын
right! wine, stock, water.. even a bit of fruit juice can be used to deglaze Chicken doesn't have much flavor naturally... simple is fine but it doesn't have to be bland. Marinades are easy and make a huge difference..A few hours or overnight is best but 30 minutes can work.. I don't like over-seasoned food but this looks kind of bland.. ..to each their own... ! ps:. it may sound corny but ingredients many people forget are love & gratefulness.. I think when you eat really healthy as a lifestyle and you don’t put a bunch of junk in your body, your taste buds are naturally going to more sensitive & receptive to taste, and therefore you don’t require a lot of extra seasoning and/or sodium for the dish to be flavorful. Her taste buds likely aren’t dulled down from eating trash, so she’s probably thoroughly enjoying the taste of her food just as it is.

What are you talking about? Using spices is seasoning something. If u put spices on something you don’t say I spiced it. You would say I seasoned it. Salt and pepper is seasoning, but adding other spices and herbs makes things way more flavorful.
