Hi Dave, Brilliant as usual, as the the guy said the fround work does seem to be another model on it's own and can make or break the whole thing. Funny you brought this out now just when I'm doing my first serious diorama base. Looking forward to your new min series Dave. Regards Chris.

I always look forward to your videos. Great to watch and learn from. What did you use for the taller green grass?
@Lastcavalry7 жыл бұрын
David, I cannot remember where I found the tall green grass - I've had it my stash for years! Thanks for watching.

Dave, Great vid! Can you explain or have a video showing how the figure is the attached the the groundwork/base. Thats what I’m struggling with. Thanks!
@Lastcavalry5 жыл бұрын
I normally pin the figure to the base with a small brass rod - the hole in the base is pre-drilled and I leave the rod in place before adding the groundwork. A slightly larger hole is drilled into the foot of the figure and then placed after the groundwork has dried a bit!

Great video Dave. What was the product you used for the taller green weeds? Right when you said you wanted to give is some height, you started cutting from a green patch of weedy material. What was that? Thanks again in advance. Mike
@Lastcavalry8 жыл бұрын
Mike - I'm not sure where I got it as I have been collecting weeds, roots, and other stuff for years. My best guess is at a craft shop!

Hi Dave. Do you steralise material you use from outdoors (your backyard sweepins) in case of fungus spores ect? Thank you.
@Lastcavalry7 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I microwave the stuff but mostly I just dry it out and go!
