I'm a bit late to the party but I wanted to say how much I appreciate the thoughtfulness and efficiency of your design. I'm in the process of building a new potting bench myself and came across this video during my research. I'm also especially pleased with the recycling you have done - we have a lot of pallet wood available in my area, and far too much of it gets trashed or burned - I use it all the time for out-door projects, but few are as elegant as yours. One thing I have on my old bench - similar to yours in the use of the plastic bins for soil - is a sifting screen that fits over the bin. When you are changing soul in a pot it is very helpful to be able to sift out any rocks or roots, and then that "used" soil can easily be returned to the garden or re-nutrified with compost and used for another planting of annual crops. I know a lot of people don't put much thought into utilitarian furniture - for many, a decent sized flat surface is sufficient - but the attention to detail that you put into this build will no doubt be rewarding for many years - and yes, I can foresee a few afternoons when some ice in those bins might be quite advantageous. Well done, and thank you for posting this!

It’s been extremely useful and versatile. We both use it a lot. Only thing I would change is larger wheels.
