I like it...I think I would have the tails and pins switched though since there will be no lateral stress on the bar. The stress will vector from the wall side when someone tries to stuff a fat towel behind the bar.

Nice work. I couldn’t quite see how you mounted it. Keyhole hangers?

BalancedLugger Exactly. A couple key hole hangers mortised into the back allows to adjust the tightness so its snug to the wall.
