Usually, select the legs layer, unselect the fill at the top bar, and select the stroke to white. if the layer style or effect is applied on a layer, then change it from there.

Hello! May I ask, instead of drawing it directly on AE, can I draw them on AI instead and bring over? What will the difference be if you do it on AE and AI? Because it seems like it's like harder to draw on AE for me because I'm more used to AI. Thank you!
