Simple everyday life: Korean Noodles, Tomato Sauce Spaghetti, I Sold My House (HDB), House Hunting

Visited Tiger after having dinner with my friend. Cute as ever.
Made Korean cold mixed noodles for lunch on Monday. Went to meet my friend for dinner after work on Friday evening. It was nice to catch up. On Saturday, I made tomato sauce spaghetti after seeing a recipe online.
Also like to share that I sold my current house as it's a very small 2 room flat apartment. It has just one bedroom, like a small studio apartment. Just nice for one but a squeeze for 2. After much consideration and because we have fulfilled the MOP (Minimum Occupancy Period) of 5 years, I took the plunge and sold off the flat so that we could change to a bigger flat. I am looking for a 2 bedroom flat (3 -room flat). Started house viewings with my property agent. It's an exciting journey and I look forward to finding my next house.

Wow!!! This is exciting 😮 it’s amazing you can view so many houses in only one day. When we were doing house-hunting we only managed to view one house in a day. We used to live in a 1-room flat with our 3 kids. We created our own bedroom to fit the 4 of us and sofa bed in the ‘living room’ for our son. We moved to our current 3-room about 7 years ago. Our house is 3A and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are spacious. I can’t wait for your next video. Suddenly I’m excited about your new place 😃

Just now i see yr past vlog whereby u get yr key to yr new flat,plan n design it.really will miss yr flat when u move out.I remember last yr u got painter to repaint yr flat still new.redecorate yr house etc.I like everything of yr flat.Bunny will miss the place n hope he will get use to yr new flat in future

Yeah last year still didn’t have plan to move out yet especially that time I got retrenched and all. So just repainted the house as ceiling got mould suddenly.

You are not the only one. Having a dishwasher can save time from washing utensils and prevent our hands from getting dry. Also, I like the best of it is that it can air dry.

Good luck house hunting🎉🎉! We moved 6months ago from a 5rm BTO to a 2rm BTO. Because 5rm bto was way too big for just 2 people. The process took longer than expected but everything went well in the end. All the best!!🎉

Cucumber is not a must for any dish ever for me 😅 However I agree sesame oil makes carrots taste delicious 😋 Compared to England, 2 months is very soon to move out! We bought our empty flat in September 2022 and didn’t complete and get our keys until May 2023! Then there was a month of decor work as we moved into no floors and fuchsia pink glitter walls and canary yellow in the living room 😅(I am being very literal, we are entirely confused as to the previous owner’s tastes.)

It’s actually about 3 months from date of purchase to completion and key handover. Some people would ask for 3 month’s extension to stay but I didn’t as I could move back to my mum. The buyer could potentially lower the price if we ask for extension. 😅 Thankful I have a place to move to so I can take my time to look for the new house.

@@eueuandbunny it’s interesting how different moving is in different countries. Our buyers couldn’t ask for a discount that way here, if the timelines didn’t work they would just drop out. We were still living with my mum at the time our (flat) purchase was going through and as and when we choose to move again, we could potentially move back with her until we find something else. I’m also interested in how you name your homes…my partner and I own a flat, for us that’s a main room for living/dining and office space, a small separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. We also have a small side room too (we call it the small room) which is a cloakroom and storage area. We do have much more tasteful decor now 🤣🤣 literally we had seaweed green ceilings in 3 rooms at the time of purchase. But we saw beyond and knew the space would be great

⁠@@nixfarrik6214interesting to know how the flats are in England. Singapore is small and land scarce so most people lives in high rise flats. There are also condominiums which are private housings which cost more than the HDB flats. My current house is the smallest HDB unit with one living room, one bed room, one kitchen and one toilet. I’m going for a 3 room flat with 2 bedrooms. 2 toilets, one living room and kitchen. But we are also viewing some 4 rooms flat with 3 bed rooms the price difference is not too big.

I also like the 3rd one too but it wasn’t on a high level which I like and it’s also more expensive as it’s a bigger house. Plus I was thinking the view in front would be filled with buildings in the future too. 😅

Nope, it's fine without a hood, just wipe down regularly after cooking. My current job is one side induction, one side infra red which turns hot so I could use any pot on it. Turned out I hardly use the infra red side. So I intend to get just induction hob next time. 😊

Sold my 4 room bto and upgraded to 5 room resale. My bto hall is small due to the fact that the bomb shelter covers my hall area. Sore eye. Resale flat bomb shelter is now in the kitchen area. Hall is big
