Also if you want the gradient to stick to your object when rotating, check the description! It's super simple, soz should've added in the video but only remembered afterwards 😅

Tried to archive this effect with RVT's for about a week with underwhelming results and rendering issues. THIS was just the right medicine at the right time! THANK YOU so much! I needed this. Subscribed 🙂 Big respect for the shout-out btw! Found his channel a couple of months ago and he's been an inspiration for sure.

Thank you brother, this is super helpful! I added it to my indie game to make it pop a bit more. I tried two other tutorials and they didnt work, thankfully yours did while keeping it simple.

This is great thank you, I've been looking for this solution and of course I find it in one of your videos, now I just need to figure out how to do a color gradient on a glass material.

Your’re my new favorite unreal engine youtuber. Not a c4d user but your last unreal engine videos were really cool and useful

Ahhh thank you so much! Yeah to be honest I'm trying to also make tutorials where it's not dependent on what 3d modelling software you use.

This is a great tutorial and it helped me a lot. Just a bit of feedback: I would really like to further understand each and every step you took so further explanations would be great. I would also like to know how I can get different gradient options in terms of circular, 3 different colors...etc

Quick tip; right click on your inputs to any nodes and choose promote to parameter so you don't have to find the node. Much quicker :)

5.4 Motion Design material designers come with gradients, which seem to be directly integrated with traditional materials

Ohhhh I haven't even jumped into material designer yet! Gonna check that out right now - cheers for the heads up 🙏🏽

Great tutorial mate! Subscribed! I have been playing around 5.4 after watching your tutorials and it's quite fun. However I ran into a problem when trying to clone a nanite mesh, it will completely ignore the source object as nanite or spawn some low poly proxies instead :( Do you have any idea how to enable this?

Thanks so much for this tutorial. Been bugging me for months. Crazy how we can't just have a simple ramp node...
