Pro tip - waffle blanket under the duvet - fold down top of sheets over it. Duvet fold in half so that the top edge is at the end of the bed and then back to the middle - gives that layered crate and barrel look without stuffing your duvet three times and sweltering

Hey guys I’m from Sydney Australia and I’ve always wondered what are those things in the kitchen sink you have “disposal” I think they’re called. What’s the purpose of them ? We usually just have a drain catcher thing and empty our sink. What a disposal for ?? Thanks !
@BSmeansBlueSalad2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a garbage disposal. It basically blends up food waste in the sink to go down the drain easier.

Do you have an outside clothesline or do you always.use a dryer?
@racheltalbott2 жыл бұрын
Hey Heather. =) Happy to see your face in my comments. I used to have one (we built a wood one), but we actually had to tear it down so we could move the tractor through that area. I want to build another one, or I can just hang a line between trees etc. Our neighbors horses do kick up a lot of dust that gets into our yard, so I will need to choose a better location. I have a habit of using my dryer for sure. We are solar powered, but still a good reminder to shift this habit.. Hope you're well. xo

Putting a down alternatice comforter in a washi g machine leaves it lumpy and the down will shift and yours did look kind of lumpy i know because I've had one and it ended up being lumpy best to get it dry cleaned so its not lumpy just a suggestion.. And your sheets are nice but moving the seat at the bottom 9f your bed you could tuck your sheets under i noticed you didnt tuck them all the way under
@racheltalbott2 жыл бұрын
Good tips. Thanks for sharing. I actually didn't wash this comforter, so maybe it needs a little time to even out. =)

Oh boy I so don't understand the American way of doing your bed😂it does not make sense to me. Why so many thin layers of sheets? Can someone explain? Apart from that beautiful video as always:)

We use one sheet, and then a down comforter that is put inside a duvet. =)
@BSmeansBlueSalad2 жыл бұрын
I’ve heard many places do the bed making differently. Here in the south (South Carolina, USA), I put the fitted sheet on the mattress, then a thin sheet, and of course pillows, then a thicker top blanket and then duvet. When I sleep I’ll sleep above the fitted sheet and under the thin sheet, blanket and duvet. How do you make your bed?
