Hello Robin. Thank you for the instructions for making a journal. It is beautiful. One day I'll see if I can make one. Not big on writing my thoughts down every day. But who knows😅. It's been very hot here but strangely enough some days are cold. It's not the rainy season in the western cape now but we've had the odd rainy day.which is very much appreciated. . Hopefully when the rains come in winter our dams will fill up again. I hope you're keeping well and looking forward to spring. Regards Jenny.

Just give it a try, Jenny. no need to keep it for personal thoughts only . What about stamping ideas or writing color combos you want to give a try? Or as a swatch book for all the craft supplies you already own? Or doodle some sketches for a future card? The possibilities are endless 👍🏻 I am a bit more on the perfectionism side 🙈🙈 and always wanted to do the perfect planner. But then I realized, that I bought and bought all these dated expensive planners, that I‘d never use - and the following year I can‘t use anymore, because date and day mismatched 😳🙄 So I started with a blank dotted grid paper and write whatever whenever I want - but mostly try some setups, keep it as a reference and try & error book. I love it ❤ best invested 3 bucks ever 💪🏼

I agree with Sandra. I am keeping my entries very surface level and working more on creating the habit and using fun pens and highlighters to write🤣🤣🤣!

I love your journal! I am also trying to do things for myself in 2024 and enjoying being creative and doing things that are relaxing vs trying to keep up with so much and being behind. I have been more anxious lately as it feels like I don’t have enough time to do everything. Time to regroup 💖

Regroup indeed. I agree wholeheartedly. I was trying to think of a good word for 2024 that would describe the changes or balance I want to achieve and I'm not sure I've found the right one yet. Realign? Refocus? I hope you will join me in being more intentional for yourself too my friend!😊

Great idea to personalize one of the not so expensive note books and turn it into a planner style book. Somewhere in the depths of my craftroom I have some sheets of shrink paper… just don‘t know if I really want to invest the time in searching or stamp instead and keep the searching part to a point if I have no ideas for stamping 😅

Very, very cute! I love it. I have t journaled faithfully for the last couple of years. I used to keep a prayer journal and need to do that again, it kept me focused. I also had a journal with all the books I had read. I printed off a copy of the book cover, then a synopsis of the book and I decorated the pages, with stickers and die cuts. I kept track because I had forgotten what books I read and how I liked them. I was just looking this morning on Amazon of a journal that was spiral bound, because having decorating the pages it started falling apart. I’m interested in the pocket pages that we have, I want to do more memory keeping again too. Maybe with CTMH we will incorporate more Memory Keeping…..🩷

I agree, Shelley! I am so excited and hopeful to get more memory keeping supplies and opportunities. I love your idea about the things you record. It does help with focus and documenting accomplishments as well as answered prayers. Mindfulness is definitely a goal of mine this year!😍😍😍
