Although most of the concerts of the Graffiti Soul tour were recorded and released, this concert was not recorded as Swiss TV had exclusive rights. So far this is the only video that appeared from the recording.

An incredibly underrated band. I think Simple Minds were caught under the shadow of U2 and didn't get the same amount of recognition or popularity/fame like U2 achieved. Charlie Burchill is also a very underrated guitarist that doesn't get the recognition he deserves as well as Jim Kerr not getting the same accolades as a vocalist.

I totally agree with you! Your right U2 definitely overshadowed simple minds!! Jim Kerr is an unbelievable singer and charlie Bitchill is an unbelievabley talented guitarist/ composer Simple minds music shaped 80s music for me Simply fantastic 😊👌

Yes. What a fantastic band and Jim sounds amazing, even being unwell! This song in particular is one of my fave SM songs. It's amazing and makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Something about jims voice has been my favorite since i was a little kid...i waited for simple minds to come on the radio so i could record it on my casette tape.

@@annasloan2349 There really IS something about his voice. I think it's the various levels he can take it to. There's this roughness to it but it's also very soulful and passionate. He has a very emotional, powerful voice and I love it!!
