Hi from Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I was 18 years old when I first heard this. I’ve been so lucky to see Simple Minds perform this track live. The first time was in Glasgow in December 1982. It is a stunning track from the album New Gold Dream. I’m approaching sixty now but I have fantastic memories of my late teens and beyond. I have saw Simple Minds live over 20 times. I’m from Glasgow and so, so proud of Kerr, Burchill, McGee, Forbes, MacNeil.

This incredible concert changed my life when I first listened to it in 1991 on the Super Golden Radio Show CD! The CD started with I travel, which became the most important song of my life. After performing it this year in Cologne, Jim said this song has never been a hit, but to me it is definetly the sound and rhythm of my soul. I wish I had been there at Tiffany's in 1982!

Someone enlighten me if am wrong. Was this the only time SM played @Tiffany's? If so then i was at this gig. Tiffany's held approx 2,000 ,the support band were Positive Noise (Glasgow band ?) SM graced the stage about 11pm and played till about 1.00am . My ticket stub is number 1414 . Ah here i correct myself. It was Sunday 1st March 1981, Ticket price £2.50 (in advance) £3.00 (at door) Anyone else at this gig ?
